Flatpacks

Trying its hardest to conform to a hangable shape, Rookinella's "Flatpacks" are a slight diversion from the earlier sculptures. They hang comically with the innocent expression of something that is uncomfortable in its own shape.

"Felt Casualties of the Cold War" are part of a series of more grim attitude to soft canvas. The juxtaposition of the post-apocolyptic subject matter, the soft materials and the added googly eyes gives the viewer an insight into the artist's comical and childish view of the world.
